An exceptional new opportunity has arisen for an experienced and passionate System Trainer to join a successful and expanding team in Cardiff. Joining during a period of dynamic expansion to match their continued successes, within this role you would be responsible for training both new and existing clients in new functionalities and solutions, as well as ensuring all technical documentation are kept fully updated. This role will provide exposure to many areas of the business, working with the Sales and Marketing team, as well as being involved in QA and developing specifications for new innovations and client requests.
We anticipate that the successful applicant for this position will be tasked with the following tasks and responsibilities:
*be responsible for understanding the solution fully in order to
- successfully train users in how to best use the solution.
- assist Sales with bids and configuration.
- assist Marketing with development of their literature.
- deliver Webex sessions for new and existing clients.
- assisting with user groups.
- assisting with Support Desk queries.
- using knowledge of configuration to help guide clients and offer support.
*be responsible for ensuring User Guides are updated and well written. Experience of writing such documentation is a must.
*work with the Delivery Manager to ensure that Project Managers use relevant documentation to ensure delivery of the product is clearly defined (e.g. standard process maps, role management matrices).
*help clients with understanding the solution by both face-to-face training and online sessions.
*working with marketing to ensure online support and FAQs are relevant as well as suggestions for case studies or client news stories.
*attendance at client sites if and when necessary.
We anticipate that the successful applicant for this position will have the following skills, knowledge and experience:
*Our customer's products are highly configurable software applications. As such, you will need to be a fast learner who will quickly become proficient in the systems and their functionalities.
*experience delivering training for software applications is a must.
*ability to anticipate areas of difficulty and / or questions and adapt training to meet the needs of clients.
*capable of interpreting client context and applying to a system.
*ability to effectively communicate technical information in non-technical terms. Experience of creating and maintaining documentation for end users (internal and external end users).
*ability to communicate professionally by phone and email.
*not easily thrown by having to balance conflicting demands from having several tasks on the go at once.
*a strong communicator, with strong written and oral skills. Must be secure in his / her knowledge and abilities. *must be trustworthy and professional and be able to convey to customers that our customer is a professional and trustworthy organisation.
